Ho Ho Ho!

On Monday night, November 13 the Hamilton Community Schools Board of Education put on its Santa hats and approved the purchase of 30 new laptops for each elementary school!

MacBooks (click to view details of the new computers) will be arriving around the New Year and feature new software that will connect our students to tremendous real-world learning resources like Google Earth and more interactive websites.

This is more than just an early Christmas present though. Over the past 7 school years, Hamilton students have done a phenomenal job caring for our existing set of iBooks. Students and teachers have demonstrated a real commitment to increasing their learning and teaching with technology. We were due for an upgrade, but we also demonstrated that new technology would be used effectiviely.

Thank you Board. Thanks Mr. Kos and all who helped to make this initiative a reality!
