Long Exposures and Light

To learn more about how what we see and what a camera sees is reflected light, we are experimenting with taking long exposure shots with a DSLR camera and adding external light. Below are some of the images we created today. See if you can figure out why somethings showed up "normally" while others look rather "ghostly".

And now here is one shot by one of our students Gretel. She used an iPod Touch app called Slow Shutter to take this picture of her sister.
