Once upon a time, the Holland, MI area had its own zoo. Not much is left of the grand Lakewood Farm and Zoo. You have probably traveled down Lakewood Blvd. and didn't know it was named for this historic property. Located between Lake Macatawa and Tunnel Park, it was an attraction that was "must see" for people who visited this area.
